Really enjoyed reading about your Farm Project. We just got our first three hens on Sunday so we are only learning. We thought shredded paper would be a good idea and now, after reading your diary, we know it is!
Well done to all involved !

I wonder if someone would have the time to explain to me exactly where Ednaharnon is. I am an ex Cornishman now living in Australia. My mother was Irish and I lived for a short time in Ireland and went to a small school at a place I assumed was called Moneylagen. I lived on the Gregg farm which looked across the valley to the Starrett farm. I believe both farms were about 2/3 miles from Letterkenny. The reason for my enquiry is that I have a photo of the Starrett farm and on the back it says 'Ednaharnon'. I never heard the name mentioned while I was there in about 1946/47. I was about 9 years old at the time and remember a few words of Irish which I learnt at the school and which I still remember to this day. I used to play with the Starrett boys and think that I do recognise the farm. Am I close or is Ednaharnon a completely different place in Donegal?

Regards, Alex Hosking.

Hi everyone, Your site is really colourful and is a great idea for all schools. I am helping the Adrian Mitchell Society with their updated website and we are going to include the story of your day in the Hospice Garden and hopefully some of the pics. Guests on the A.M.S. site will also be able to link to your site, so maybe you'll have some more visitors and comments like this! Keep up the good work everybody.
