Ballyraine Radio
We have worked hard preparing and producing PODCASTS which enable you to listen to some of the creativity, academic and musical talent to be found in Ballyraine N.S.
3rd Class love to sing! Here they are singing a fun song 'Viva la Compagnie' about friendship, accompanied by various selections of percussion instruments.

Do you know your book characters?

There has lots of 'Wild' fun throughout the school during Book Week and on Book Day. We all love reading books, and some of 2nd class have recorded quiz questions about well known book characters. Listen and see if you can guess the character's name!

Bhaineamar an-taitneamh as an gceolchoirm a chuir rang a sé ar siúl ag deireadh Seachtain na Gaeilge, roimh Lá Fhéile Phádraig. Bhí drámaíocht íontach agus ceol, agus is féidir leat thíos cloisteáil lena gceolteoirí.

EXTREME FACTOR TALENT COMPETITION !
Transition year students from Errigal College, Letterkenny are running a local talent competition this term as a business project. We are proud of two singing groups from Ballyraine N.S. who have just passed the first audition and are through to the next round. We very much enjoyed their singing in school, when they entertained all of us in the hall, and wish them the very best of luck and hope they enjoy the experience.
Speaking of local talent, if you're watching the 'Late Late Toy Show' on Friday 26th November look out for some young Donegal 'Bollywood' dancers! One of the girls, A., is our former S.N.A. Karen's daughter ! Listen to our recordings of the two groups and also a third group who participated in the talent competition.

‘The Port’
Thank you to local artist and historian John Baird for sharing his memories of life at ‘The Port’ with 6th Class during a recent history lesson. An interview with John can be heard here:
On the final day of the summer term we had a school assembly where we said goodbye to 6th class and they were presented with bound copies of their very special year book. The choir sang two lovely songs, which you can listen to by clicking below. The whole school also gave a rousing rendition of our 'Leavers' Song'.

Elaine, S.N.A. with 6th class over the last 8 years.
We had an opportunity to wish Andy farewell in January 2010 when he paid us a visit. It was great to see him again, and his class presented him with a wonderful book full of tributes written by them and their parents. Representatives of the staff, parents and management all spoke about his unique qualities, and the choir treated us to uplifting renditions of 'You'll never walk alone' and 'Ireland's Call'. You can listen to them by clicking below!
